So I don't know how many of you guys really care about fighting games, but some crazy news broke today about Soul Calibur IV. I'm not even sure how to build up to something like this, so I'll just get right to the news.

I figure, even if you don't really care about the calibur of various souls, this is still bizarre enough to make good conversation.

Well, I have to say, I love the opening theme song. And it was endorsed by PA.

I haven't seen the actual show itself, though, because I lack cable. Has anyone? Is it of merit?

First of all, thanks go to Kyle for pointing out that people are worried about my sudden complete disappearance from the Internet. It's not that this message was never going to be written, but the fact of the matter is that it's dangerous to even have this website in my history list right now. A long-distance phone call where a concerned friend makes sure you aren't dead can be pretty galvanizing, though.

This is the first really well reasoned-out argument I've seen for the notion that non-Christians can end up in God's good graces. The usual arguments are generally along the lines of, "I can't believe God's only judge of human worth is where they pray." Frankly, that's been my argument and I've dismissed the assertion by another religion that only they have the answer simply because I thought it was egocentric ...
