So recently I tripped across the word "seneschal," incidentally as the game The Riddle Of Steel's term for, basically, a GM. And I realized that I had seen the word before, somewhere, most likely in a different game of some sort. Where was it?

So, the forums, RP subset notwithstanding, have been really inactive lately, and I'm sure everyone has noticed it.

So why have YOU been refraining from posting?

Me, I've been busy with life. School term ended, and I found myself, rather suddenly, involved in three weekly tabletop RP games, plus assorted dealings with my and Apple's families--I haven't even had time to go to my martial arts stuff without suffering a certain amount of burnout.

And if so, how many schools exist within the system? Do the children of the slums attend the same schools as those of the wealthy? And what do they learn? How far along is education? I think it would be out of the question to be learning Physics, but maybe they learn some basic magical theory since it is so integral to life here?

Oh God I hate the country.

I forgot pretty quickly when I moved into the city, but it's all coming back to me. The bugs. The BUGS! I hate insects! I absolutely HATE insects! All of them! Flies, mosquitoes, those weird little things that fly into your face whenever you take a step forward, moths who love nothing better than to sit motionless on a wall until you turn off the light and go to ...
