To those that were expecting me to start a chat RP today at 7 PM, I have some bad news.

This morning, my desktop computer refused to boot up. Seriously. The power was connected, but the power light (the one that's green on most systems) refused to come on when I turned the computer on. Plus, the system refused to recognize my monitor.

While I plan on getting that one fixed ASAP, things ...

Good side:By the time I get on AIM again, it will no longer be on AIME.

In light of the recent thread, I thought I'd try kickstarting something a little different from the past. Normally, when a thread about GMing gets started, it's full of tips on what to improve, and links to helpful documents and such.

For this, I'd like to try a different approach.


Instead of posting tips, I'd like people to post here if you've considered GMing before, but didn't go through with it. If you want, explain ...

Right. Since I've got a bit of time on my hands now, I'm thinking of running something tomorrow for whoever happens to be online and interested.

This is going to be a one-off "expendarpee", set in a village in the north of Riva. Residents, passers-through, all sorts of characters are welcome. Just don't get too attached to them, because they might not survive the day.
