My hamster died today.

His name was Chami, or at least, it was after I took him over. It's a game reference, and I wasn't sure Boo would fit a dwarf hamster. The girl I got him from, bless her soul, wasn't sure how old he was (or if it was even a he), but I didn't care.

So I don't know how many of you follow portable gaming news, but this is a neat little title in development by developers 5th Cell, who brought us Drawn to Life, wherein you draw much of the gameworld yourself, and Lock's Quest, which... I actually know very little about, but it apparently reviewed pretty well.

Anyway, Scribblenauts is a puzzle-platformer, with a pretty basic goal: Each stage has a star, and you need to collect ...

Out of curiousity for what exactly this was about, I clicked the link to visit the site.

Now, I will say, the site overall does seem to fit this theme. (reds, blacks, looks creepy).
However, I think one of their banner ads may have 'slightly' diminished the creepy goth look

Since summer's fast approaching, it seems people are having more time out of their schedules to do things.

If I were to run a set of random adventures (probably two sessions each, my one-shots always take two sessions), who would be interested?

I've finally come to a point where going back to school is a feasible course of action. So back in November (2008) I applied for admission to the University of Maryland for Fall 2009. Since I just found this amazing video today, I thought it would be a good excuse to start up a general political video thread. Basic summary: Mancow Muller, a right-wing talk radio guy out of Chicago, gets waterboarded to see what it's like. He lasts 7 seconds, and at the end of it, he literally flips completely around on his opinion of it and admits that it is "absolutely torture".

This is something I've tossed for a bit, about doing a silly, light-hearted RP set in either Candyland or doing a mock-up of superheroes. System, if any, will likely be the Window.
