Innocence

Okay, so, as you may or may not know, the potentially awesome new Ghost in the Shell movie is making it's rounds stateside right now. It's a limited release, of course, which means you probably gotta go out of your way to see it, but that also means that, since a trip has to be made anyway, there's another excuse to hang out with people! Thus, in this spirit, I present a haphazard and unorganized ...

Holy crap, this is awesome.

Square Enix announces Romancing SaGa Remake

I hope someone else besides me has played the original RS, but anyway, it`s really old, outdated, and kinda sucks, but the storyline is so open-ended and awesome, as well as the magic attacks, weapons, and just general leveling system was so advanced for its time. (1992) I never played the original SNES version, but I bought the WS port here in japan, which is basically the same game ...

And now, for the First Annual Overly Violent Filmfest!

*ahem* And now, for a brief idea I had about a potential activity for when we meet up for Sugoicon. Inspired by a talk on movies in RPGWW chat.

Basically, sometime during Sugoicon, we all sit around and watch a collection of entertaining and violent movies (as the name suggests). So far, the list includes...

*Boondock Saints
*Pulp Fiction
*The Kill Bill movies
*Resevoir Dogs
*Maybe some old school samurai and kung fu movies
*That ...

The hell is this?

This is how my computer is displaying, among other sites, Penny Arcade. Note the Chinese characters inserted whenever something other than the 26 letters of the alphabet are used. It's been doing this for months, ever since my girlfriend used my computer to look up some sites in Japanese. It doesn't really bother me, as I can usually figure out what's being said regardless, but I'm selling my computer at the end of this week, ...

RPGWW chats

Okay, since some people don't seem to know, I assume an announcement is in order.

RPGWW has two "regular" (i.e. non-RP) chat rooms. One is the EZBoard live chat, linked at the top of the RPGWW forum page, which we only will have until our CSC Gold membership runs out. It's generally used when occassionally a board member can't get on AIM, for some reason, or when someone's feeling like being different, and generally ignored ...

On the issue of timeattack videos.

Some of you have doubtless watched videos of games where the author performs crazy tricks and the like, and/or completes a game unusually fast. The majority of the time, these 'timeattacks' aren't really for demonstrating skill in a game - they are there for entertainment, at least according to a site I know of that specializes in timeattack runs.

I admit we have had posts about timeattacks before, and a few of you may be ...

Anyone need a gmail account?

Most people who want to be on gmail are already on. . .but I have 6 extra invites, and I wonder if anyone needs one.

If you're not familiar with gmail, it's a new email thingy by Google, you can only sign-up on an invite only basis, and you get 1GB of mailbox space. Not to mention no pop-ups or graphic-intensive crap. <p>---------------

Inspired by morality, brought to you by Fight Club

If you were to die right now, what would you regret not having done? <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. It is a secret you have yet to grasp, although the first syllable has been spoken in a dream you cannot quite recall." --Unknown Armies</span></p>

One more reason I don't trust the Republican party anymore.

WARNING: This first-hand account of some of the events that went on during the Republican National Convention are rather disturbing. You may not want to read this if accounts of inhumane treatment of innocent people does not settle well with you.

greetings, and a question.

I just thought I'd swing by and say hi, I just recently started, and finished reading RPG world, and thought it was amazing. This is far from my first experience with ezboard, as I've been rping on it for a good while, and this isn't even my first account -_-; .. but I was just double checking, this is a more dnd based rpg, and if we make a character we'd use that same one ...
